Job Title: Forklift Operator –  Winery

Location: Fort Lawn, SC
Schedule:  Day 12 hrs | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule]
Pay Rate: $18.00

Overview

Kelly® Services is seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support operations at  Winery in Fort Lawn, SC. This role is vital to maintaining smooth production flow, ensuring accurate inventory movement, and supporting a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience and a strong commitment to teamwork and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down, stand-up ) to move materials, pallets, and finished product.

  • Load and unload trailers and production lines following all safety procedures.

  • Stage raw materials and finished goods according to production and shipping schedules.

  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through scanning and documentation.

  • Support general warehouse and production tasks as needed, including line supply and material handling.

  • Follow Gallo's safety, sanitation, and quality control standards at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).

  • 6 months – 1 year of recent forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching).

  • Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled industrial environment.

Work Environment
  • Warehouse and production setting with exposure to moderate noise and moving mechanical equipment.

  • Must wear appropriate PPE (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.).

  • Team-oriented culture with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.
