Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a busy company located in Kissimmee, FL 34758.
Pay- $18-$20/hour depends on experience
Schedule- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Position Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for Shipping and Receiving functions within the warehouse and unloading trucks
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down propane forklift to load, unload, move, and store products and materials within the warehouse and on/off trucks and trailers.
- Change propane canister as needed and perform daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure the forklift is in good working condition.
- Pick, pull, and stage outbound loads with forklifts as needed.
- Accurately record inventory movements and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or invoices, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with office staff, drivers, and other warehouse personnel to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve any issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for company and customer traffic.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed ex: sweep, dust, and mop .
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking, packing, and organizing inventory.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas, conduct regular stock checks. Including racking, re-configuration, and product consolidation.
- Organize and stock received items efficiently, maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of experience operating a forklift. Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs, stoop, bend, ascend/descend stairs/ladders, and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
