Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Hartsville, TN
Pay Rate: $18.69 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Overtime available but not required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Hartsville, TN. The ideal candidate will monitor all storage components and materials, ensuring efficient transport to and from machining and assembly stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize materials in storage locations while maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Handle brass and cast iron chips produced during the machining process.
• Stock all components and materials in an organized manner in assigned storage locations.
• Transport materials to and from machining and work stations.
• Assist with inventory management and the stocking of finished goods in the distribution warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Proven ability to drive a forklift.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Certified forklift driver preferred.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
• Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
