Job Title: Forklift Driver
 Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043
 Pay Rate: $20 per hour
 Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with overtime when needed)
 Employment Type: Potential for Hire
Job Summary:
 We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy equipment, particularly large forklifts, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 5-ton forklifts to move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Spot for drivers of larger forklifts to ensure safety during operations.
- Perform light computer work, including data entry, printing, and copying.
- Conduct a forklift driving test to demonstrate safety and caution.
- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash and cleaning during downtime.
- Learn to use a handheld device for receiving and scanning items as they go out; training will be provided, but proficiency is expected.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working with heavy equipment operators.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving large equipment forklifts.
- Experience spotting for drivers of larger forklifts is essential.
- Familiarity with larger forklift operation is a plus but not required for initial employment.
- Ability to maintain safety standards while operating equipment.
- Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed based on demand.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with sit-down forklifts; experience with stand-up reach forklifts is a bonus but not required.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
