Job Title: Facility Security Officer - Physical Security Console Operator
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Salary: $18.00 per hour, plus a 3.5% shift differential. Bonus eligible.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Security Officer to join our dynamic team in El Dorado Hills. This is an on-site position where you will be responsible for physical security monitoring and aspire to be part of an engaging and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Security Oversight: Ensure protection of assets and personnel by overseeing physical security operations.
- Access Supervision: Manage and control personnel access to the facility.
- Monitoring: Track and report event alarms from the access control and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, manage ID/access badge issues, and maintain site security through regular log checks.
- Alarm Response: Respond to, evaluate, and resolve alarms at the console monitoring station.
- Patrols: Conduct external and internal patrols of facilities and report any procedural breaches or security concerns.
- Communication: Keep the Security Management Team informed of all security matters and perform additional duties as directed.
- Work Hours: Work from 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM PT, with occasional overtime; shifts may change based on coverage and department needs.
- Travel: Must be able to travel as needed and perform related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other Security and Facility personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail: Vigilant in reporting security issues or incidents.
- Administrative Skills: Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer skills including typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Certification: CPR certification preferred.
