Executive Assistant (Temporary-to-Hire)
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site)
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Temporary-to-Hire
A mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on housing stability and health equity is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity ideal for a professional with strong administrative experience and a passion for making a difference in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence
- Plan and facilitate board meetings, including agenda preparation, compilation of board materials, and minute-taking
- Manage internal and external communications, prioritize inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and grant documentation
- Track organizational deadlines, compliance requirements, and renewal schedules
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, donor meetings, and community engagement activities
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-based organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Zoom, and project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence
- Genuine commitment to the organization's mission of advancing housing stability and health equity
Work Environment:
- This is an on-site role based in Atlanta, GA
- May require occasional extended hours for events or critical deadlines
