What's a typical day as an Event Planner? You'll be:
• Acting as the primary liaison with conference organizers for all aspects of event planning for assigned events, ensuring effective communication and execution.
• Leading, managing, and implementing key industry and proprietary events—both live and digital—while overseeing logistics, budgeting, and project management.
• Researching venues and making recommendations for live events, while managing all aspects of planning and communication with internal colleagues.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (required); Events & Meeting Management certificate (CMP, CMM, or CTSM) is preferred.
• Have 5+ years of experience in trade show/conference event management and marketing, including managing multi-million-dollar budgets across regions.
• Possess strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in a complex, global environment.
Pharma/Life Sciences industry knowledge required.
Conference/Tradeshow, Live and Site event experience required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-division planning teams effectively in a large, complex, global, matrix business environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to work across functions and groups on multiple projects at the same time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, meeting management and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, electronic lead capture systems, digital event platforms and a quick learner with new tools and technology; exposure to PowerBI and Salesforce is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail including excellent budgeting and expense management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to take projects from concept through execution with high attention to detail and proficiency in managing complexity.
• Comfort level with engaging effectively and efficiently with leadership and executive teams.
• Travel up to 25%, domestic and international.
