Etching Technician (Assembly Specialist) – 2nd Shift
Location: Plymouth, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay Range: $17.50 – $25.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary

We're hiring an Etching Technician to join our second shift team. In this hands-on production role, you'll operate chemical etching equipment to create micro-precision features on metal components. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a process-driven, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate chemical etching tanks and equipment in accordance with process instructions

  • Follow job travelers and special instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Use calipers, gauges, and other tools to measure product conformance

  • Accurately record inspection data and production details

  • Monitor chemical solution levels and equipment condition; perform minor maintenance as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety procedures

  • Identify and report quality concerns or material issues to team lead

  • Work independently to meet daily production goals while supporting team objectives

What You Bring
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or a similar hands-on role (preferred but not required)

  • Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and job travelers

  • Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and rulers

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

  • Comfort working around chemicals and willingness to wear PPE

  • Dependability, time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
