Kelly Engineering is partnering with an industry leader in the Greater Houston area (south) to offer an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Estimating Manager. This strategic role offers a competitive salary up to $140K based on experience, growth potential along with a positive team environment.

This position plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of estimating operations and leading a team of Estimating Engineers to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in alignment with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized estimating procedures to ensure consistency across all projects.
• Lead and manage a team of 8-10 Estimating Engineers, establishing clear roles, assignments, and objectives tailored to each team member's strengths and professional growth.
• Oversee project workload distribution, schedule management, and the prioritization of departmental tasks
• Review and approve technical proposals to ensure compliance with estimator guidelines, engineering standards
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, fabrication, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates that meet client requirements and company profitability targets

Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of design per ASME Sec VIII Div. 1, as well as fabrication and estimating methods related to pressure vessel and heat exchanger manufacturing
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
• BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline
