Engineering Project Coordinator
Onsite: Irvine, California

Hourly Pay: $40/hr

R&D Specialist / Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking training for team associates.
  • Monitor and report on project budget expenses.
  • Support the project team in the creation and reconciliation of purchase order requisitions.
  • Monitor and report on budget spend in anticipation of quarterly and fiscal year close.
  • Supports projects/ initiatives to enable product development activities.
  • Support Compliance activities.
  • Function as Project Coordinator for the Device History File of a project team.
  • Obtain quotes and place orders for material and services.
  • Lead/supports the execution of work orders.
  • Support the management of the supply chain for new product development materials.
  • Support inventory of new product development materials.
  • Support the design control for new product development build activities.
  • Supports project team/ technical projects and initiatives that focus on cost improvement, business continuity, process excellence to enable product development activities.
  • Support communication activities regarding R&D initiatives.
  • Support program management duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4–6 years of experience (or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience).
  • Experience in medical devices or product development processes is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, supply chain, and specialized areas such as BOMs, routings, and product structure is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and enterprise systems (e.g., PLM systems, Totality, JDE, ARIBA, Windchill).
  • Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to provide and utilize your own laptop.
