Plant Engineering Manager – Electrical Systems Focus

What You'll Do:
- Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of all plant electrical systems, including power distribution, automation, and control systems.
- Lead capital projects from initial concept through execution, handling budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute process optimization initiatives that boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and operational issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing production performance.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols, creating a culture of safety and regulatory compliance throughout the facility.
- Monitor manufacturing processes for quality, quickly identifying defects and implementing corrective actions.
- Champion sustainable practices and ensure ongoing environmental compliance in all operations.
- Maintain meticulous records of maintenance, repairs, equipment specifications, and other key data, and ensure all engineering team records are up to date.
- At least 5 years of experience in plant engineering or industrial maintenance, with proven expertise in electrical systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, industrial automation, and troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong project management skills and demonstrable experience leading capital projects end to end.
