Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer - Arduino R&D   Do you dream in code and love turning ideas into functional prototypes?

We're seeking a passionate Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in exploring new product applications. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in the research and development of our product, utilizing Arduino single-board microcontrollers (MCUs) to bring our vision to life.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom circuits incorporating various electronic components to work seamlessly with Arduino MCUs.
  • Write code from scratch to create functional prototypes, employing strong programming skills and an iterative development approach.
  • Continuously optimize and refine code for efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners throughout the R&D process, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
  • Document code and development processes meticulously.
Qualifications:
  • Must-have: Strong knowledge and experience working with and coding Arduino single-board microcontrollers.
  • Preferred (2-10 years of experience):
    • Experience in prototyping and developing embedded systems.
    • Experience working with small-device manufacturers.
    • Programming experience with PLCs using Allen Bradley systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering) is a plus, but not mandatory for highly qualified candidates with demonstrably strong experience.
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to experiment with different approaches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • This is a long term contract opportunity to work in a collaborative R&D environment.
