Job Posting:  Driver - Box truck
Location:  Riverview FL 33578 
Pay: 18.20
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5am to 2:00pm 

Must pass DOT medical exam,
Must pass a Back ground check
MUST have a clean DMV,
Must be able to drive a Sit-down forklift  
Must be able to use a Riding Pallet Jack.
Must wear Steel toe or Composite boots (must cover ankle) to work

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fleet Driver to join our team for delivering a Box truck to various commercial locations. Drive will be handling material (loading and unload their truck), required to lift 70lbs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive and deliver fleet vehicles to designated commercial locations. you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders.
  • Use a 5K sit down forklift and a Riding Pallet Jack to load their truck 
  • Inspect vehicles before and after deliveries to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while on the road.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as 5K sit down forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain proper truck logs

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in delivery driving or transportation is preferred, driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
