At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking Die Cutter / Mounting Operators to work for a premier printing company in Rochester, NY. With us, it's all about finding an opportunity that works for you!

Pay: $22-30/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Temp to Hire.
Schedule: A Shift (8am to 4:30pm) or B Shift (4pm to 12:30am) Mon-Fri. 

  • Overtime regularly available!


What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be:

  • Reviewing job tickets, proofs, and bindery specs to fully understand the task at hand
  • Setting up and operating diecutting and mounting equipment to meet job specifications
  • Performing make-readies and adjustments for cutting, scoring, registration, lamination, and alignment
  • Conducting in-process visual inspections and measuring to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Monitoring sheet transfer, scratching, and positioning on both sides
  • Communicating job details and quality expectations to helpers or team members
  • Completing load tags, entering production data, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines
  • Reporting equipment or safety issues to the Finishing Manager or Senior Operator
  • Assisting with production layouts and process improvements as needed
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment


This job might be an outstanding fit if you: 

  • Have experience operating Diecutters, Mounting, or Laminating equipment
  • Are familiar with job ticketing, mechanical drawings, and production specs
  • Know how to perform machine setups and preventive maintenance
  • Are a self-starter who takes ownership of quality, accuracy, and output
  • Have strong attention to detail and can identify defects like misalignment, smudges, or color variation
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active role
  • Are able to work independently and in team settings
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
