Data Entry Specialist
Job Summary:
As a Data Entry Specialist at Access Corp in Danvers, MA you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our database. You will be responsible for accurately entering alphanumeric data from various sources into our computer database. Your attention to detail and proficiency in typing will ensure the accuracy and completeness of our records. In addition, you will handle physical files, sorting and capturing data from them. This position requires familiarity with basic computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office Excel. You will be expected to work under general supervision, demonstrating a high level of efficiency and accuracy in your work.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Enter alphanumeric data from paper-based, electronic, and phone sources into the computer database.
- Check completed forms and client documents for accuracy and completeness before entering them.
- Complete all assigned data entry requests/tasks within required timeframes while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Adhere to protocols and standards during data entry to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide direction or assistance to users regarding data requirements and paperwork status.
- Sort and file paperwork as needed.
- Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office Excel.
- Ability to handle and lift up to 25-50 lbs of boxes per day.
- Experience in removing staples, sorting, filing, and boxing records.
- Basic PC computer skills.
- Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while maintaining quality work.
- Effective communication skills with clients, coworkers, and management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability to change and long project assignments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environment.
