Position: Customer Service Admin 
Pay: $18 hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Industry: Insurance


We are seeking a Customer Service Admin to work with our insurance agency !

Job description:
1. Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and offer them refreshments
2. Follow processes and procedures of the agency to create premier customer service and promote a professional work environment.
3. Take new business information accurately and communicate to Account Manager within 30 minutes of end of call.
4. Handle daily printing, scanning and faxing for the entire team.
5. Handle daily filing for the entire team.
6. Handle basic billing questions where to pay, who to pay, what to pay and pass any higher level questions to the Account Manager or CSR.
7. Run Cancellation Reports
8. Call to follow up on late payment notices as directed in the cancellation procedures.
9. Relentlessly work to update contact information on each and every call.
10. Enter data into EZ Lynx.
11. Be the first to answer all phone calls and diligently screen the calls to handle any service tasks that are indicated in this job description.
12. Proactively work with Account Managers to take work from their desks that can be handled within your role.
13. Clearly and effectively communicate to the clients to manage expectations both via the phone and email. This includes taking a proactive approach.
14. Assign Underwriting Memos as directed in procedures manual - located in Teams Notebook
15. Work to support the marketing and branding team in the following ways:

  • a. Provide them any business cards to be entered into marketing campaigns
  • . b. Suggest blog, email and social media topics to the marketing department.
  • c. Share agency social media posts on personal social networks.
  • d. Participate in pictures and agency branding opportunities when invited.
13. Handle customer service email first thing in morning.
