Key Details:

  • Temporary job expected to go through early November
  • Shift:  Harvest hours run 6 am to 6 pm. May work this 12-hour shift, or may work 6 am to 2 pm, or 11 am to 6 pm.  Candidates should be prepared to work any shift depending on departmental needs. Your schedule will likely include Saturdays and may include Sundays. At least one day off per week. Flexibility is essential.
  • $17 per hour
  • Weekly Pay

What's a typical day as a Corn Sorter?
  • Sort corn for quality
  • Remove any discard (waste, etc) and return cobs needing re-husking.
  • Move undamaged product forward in the drying process to increase quality and decrease amount of foreign material moving into dryers.
