Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to support the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of project scopes. This role bridges technical, procurement (Supply Chain), maintenance, and operational domains to ensure full lifecycle contract performance, contractor readiness, and compliance with Operations Integrity and governance standards.
Position: Contracts Advisor
Location: [Local Only – Sabina Pass, TX area]
Employment Type: Contract (Up to 12 months)
Compensation: Up to $65/hr (DOE exp)
Schedule: Mon - Fri | 7am – 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance contractors, vendors, and in-house personnel on assigned projects.
- Support maintenance activities by scheduling contractor activities, providing technical support, and managing resources.
- Maintain contractor performance matrix and key indicators.
- Continuously seek process improvements in materials procurement, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, and management to facilitate contract changes or additions.
- Lead contract development, negotiation, execution, and administration for maintenance services, technical services, and operational support contracts.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and deliverables; conduct reviews and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure contract compliance with company policies, industry standards (API, ASME, PHMSA), environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally to align contract terms with operational requirements and business objectives.
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant contracts/operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- Professional certifications in contracting (CPSM, CCCM, PMP) highly valued.
- Expert knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement regulations.
- Strong understanding of LNG operations, maintenance practices, and safety requirements.
- Financial analysis, cost modeling, pricing evaluation, and budget management skills.
- Experience with EPC, O&M, and technical service agreements.
- Advanced negotiation, supplier relationship management, risk assessment, and mitigation skills.
