Construction Project Manager

Contract - Long-term – SOW – Full benefits including PTO and 401K

$60-$80/hr + Per Diem

Cleveland, OH

 

Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to manage a large plant construction project for our client in Cleveland, OH. This is a long-term contract role of 1-2 years with the possibility for extension.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage field construction activities in HyCO, Air Separation, and other process gas technologies.
  • Lead the execution of construction contracts at project sites, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
  • Manage contract values ranging from $10MM to $300MM.
  • Lead onsite construction activity with 100% travel requirement.
  • Assignments typically last 1-2 years with occasional short-term assignments.
  • Must be flexible regarding project locations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of heavy industrial construction experience OR 2 years of industry experience plus a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Cross-functional experience in project management, construction strategy or constructability responsibilities within an EPC, construction estimating and take-off, and/or project controls is a plus.
  • Proven record of success in safety, quality, contract management, planning, and progress tracking.
  • Strong leadership and social skills with dedication to employee involvement, team building, and diversity.
  • Experience with project management software such as P6, MS Project, and Earned Value schedules.
  • Experience with crane lift supervision is a plus.
