Position: Conduit Installer
Location: Duffield, VA
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Conduit Installer to join our team in Duffield, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and modifying conduit and related equipment in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints to determine appropriate conduit sizes for specific wire types and quantities.
- Ensure all boxes, panels, conduit, and equipment are installed as per project specifications.
- Supervise and mentor conduit helpers, fostering adherence to company protocols.
- Verify proper installation of junction boxes, particularly for air conditioning units.
- Ensure each building is completed to the highest standards before progressing to the next assignment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times, including proper tool storage.
- Enforce safety guidelines and housekeeping procedures among team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve blueprint inconsistencies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, both verbally and in writing.
- Manage multiple project tasks while adapting to changing priorities and constraints.
- Apply basic algebra, geometry, and relevant mathematical concepts as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Licensure is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
