Job Purpose
As a Monitoring and Consumer Response Analyst, you will play a vital role in mitigating legal risks for American Honda Motor Co. (AHM). This involves conducting comprehensive monthly and quarterly regulatory monitoring and testing to ensure compliance with regulations like ECOA, SCRA, OFAC, and FCRA. You will perform detailed risk assessments and manage special projects related to Vendor Compliance Management, contributing directly to AHM's mission and goals by safeguarding its legal standing.
Key Accountabilities- Regulatory Monitoring: Conduct monthly and quarterly assessments, including ECOA, SCRA, OFAC, FCRA, etc. (40%)
- Risk Assessments: Perform and assist with remediation of VCM findings.
- Project Management: Manage Vendor Compliance Management special projects.
- Insurance Tracking: Supervise vendor insurance policies.
- SOC Reporting: Monitor System and Organization Control (SOC) reporting.
- Collection Call Calibration: Ensure effective communication through call calibration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- Experience in the financial industry, monitoring, and vendor compliance is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience in Quality Assurance or Compliance Monitoring is a plus.
- Background in internal or external audits is advantageous.
- Achieving high levels of legal and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrating strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Increasing efficiency to engage new compliance roles and responsibilities.
- Internal Contacts: Collaborate with Compliance Assistant Managers, Monitory Senior Analysts, AHFC Service and National Centers, and other corporate departments.
- External Contacts: Interact with AHM Law Division, consultants, and third-party vendors.
