Are you a natural problem-solver with a knack for communication? If so, we want you on our team as a Collection Agent in Maple Grove!
You'll be responsible for managing and resolving past-due invoices, ensuring timely payments, and building strong relationships with our valued business customers. You'll be the champion of accounts receivable, using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to make a real difference.
Details:
- Pay: $24.00/hour - $26.00/hour
- Long term contract, 3-4 months plus
- 1st shift schedule
What You'll Do:
- Connect & Collect: Reach out to customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices with a friendly and professional approach.
- Be a Detective: Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams like Sales, Customer Service, and Billing to get to the bottom of the issue.
- Document Like a Pro: Accurately record all customer interactions and payment commitments in our system.
- Team Up for Success: Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team, sharing updates and contributing to strategies that improve collection efficiency.
- Report & Reflect: Assist in preparing reports on overdue accounts and collection progress, helping us fine-tune our approach.
What You'll Bring:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma (required), with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, and 1-3 years of experience in business to business collections or accounts receivable.
- Communication Superstar: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Team Player Attitude: A collaborative spirit and a willingness to support team goals.
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: A keen eye for accuracy in documenting cases and managing data.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, is a HUGE plus!
- Behavioral Attributes: Self-motivation, resilience, customer-focus, and a commitment to positive relationships.
