Description

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a Production Specialist to operate Diamond Point Turning (DPT) machines and create precision cuts and measurements on production hardware.
Pay: $32.49
Hours: 12pm – 8pm, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:

• Operate DPT machines to make precision cuts and measurements.
• Follow all safety protocols for safe operation of cutting tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production support teams.
• Maintain rigorous documentation in our electronic tracking system.
• Adhere to written procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure equipment and processes are functioning correctly.
• (For qualified candidates) Assist in directing work, outlining tasks, and checking others' work.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience working with DPT machines, lathes, manual Bridgeport machines, CNC machines, or a combination of these tools.
• Ability to work with dimensions, measurements, and problem-solve.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel).
• Strong adherence to written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to handle fragile hardware and manipulate small parts.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for interacting with peers, support teams, and management.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using DPT machines.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience working in a machine shop environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Success Factors:

• Successful completion of required process certifications.
• Proficiency in documenting and executing tasks with minimal errors.
• Teamwork, collaboration, prioritization, and resource management skills.
• Consistent attendance during the contract period.
