We're seeking a CNC Machine Operator to work at a premier client in South Houston, TX 77035..
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23 hr
Schedule : Mon- Fri 8am-5pm
What's a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You'll be:
• Tending to one or more machine tools, or special purpose machines, to manufacture metal work pieces to specifications on a production and piecework basis.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Measuring and inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.
Requirements:
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 5 years of related experience in precision grinding and turbomachinery.
• Possess strong GD&T experience and knowledge in setting up, editing, and programming CNC machines to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
• Have experience with turbine engine/compressor center studs, tie bolts, etc., and own your own tools.
