Salary/Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $97,000 - $140,000 annually. What's a typical day as a Clinical Supplies Manager? You'll be:
  • Overseeing all aspects of clinical supply management, including packaging, labeling, monitoring inventory levels, and distribution.
  • Managing clinical supply activities through Interactive Response Technology (IRT) from study start-up through study closure.
  • Proactively driving the labeling, packaging, release, and distribution of clinical supplies at external CMOs for assigned studies.
  • Ensuring domestic and global distribution arrangements are in place with external vendors to allow shipment following availability of technical and regulatory releases.
  • Collaborating with relevant partners to create forecasts and packaging design based on study needs to ensure an optimized supply plan.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders (including Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs) to ensure supplies are labeled and released for clinical site shipment for global clinical trials.
  • Working cross-functionally to develop specifications and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) of IRT systems.
  • Designing and/or reviewing label text to meet product requirements and ensure compliance with US and international regulations.
  • Representing the clinical supplies function at clinical trial team meetings and communicating plans and timelines to internal and external customers and partners.
  • Ensuring appropriate system documentation is transferred to the Trial Master File (TMF) and ready for inspection readiness.
  • Utilizing appropriate software and IT systems to effectively manage key project activities.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a BS/BA degree in a related discipline with a minimum of five years of related experience, or an MS/MA degree with a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Demonstrate experience with clinical supply management planning, labeling, packaging, and distribution.
  • Have clinical supply management experience using contract manufacturing companies (strongly preferred).
  • Possess working knowledge and experience with Interactive Response Technologies (IRT) such as IVRS and IWRS.
  • Are willing to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Have knowledge of GMP batch record development, review, and approval processes.
  • Understand regulations relating to clinical labeling, packaging, and distribution activities, as well as GMP/GCP/GLP regulations.
  • Exhibit excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Are willing to travel up to 20% to vendor sites, team meetings, and/or other offices.
