Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temp to hire opportunity for a Chemist II near Toledo, OH! 

Shift: M-F | 8am-5pm
A Direct Hire Opportunity

Overview: 
Conduct research, formulation, and experimentation for new product development, with experience in formulating coatings such as floor, paint, or automotive. Develop products from concept to launch while ensuring compliance with green standards like Green Seal and Ecologo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify product formulations and test methods on tight timelines.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and introduce new technologies through research and vendor engagement.
  • Lead projects independently and provide technical recommendations and assistance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to complete projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct field testing and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Chemistry or Engineering; 3-5 years' lab experience.
  • Proficient in wet chemistry testing and use of analytical tools.
  • Able to train others and manage team activities effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and communication with corporate and manufacturing contacts.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite; flexible with working hours.
