Description

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a focused position supporting dementia screening efforts in nursing home settings. This is a contract position within a premier healthcare setting. Pay Rate: $18/hr-$20/hr (pay will be different for 1/2 day virtual training)

Shift: 
Variable; start time will be around 9am

Hiring Needs: Mix of FT and PT CNAs/CMAs, some longer-term, some site-based short assignments with potential return work.

Locations: We are hiring across Southwest Michigan including: 

  • Kalamazoo

  • Battle Creek

  • Benton Harbor

  • St. Joseph

  • Niles

  • South Haven

Overview: Our client is an industry-leading healthcare organization known for pioneering dementia care and screening. In this role, you'll collaborate with clinical leaders and on-site staff to administer screening tools, ensuring a pleasant experience for the patient. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting a seamless assessment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned nursing home facilities as scheduled.
  • Professionally administer one specific component of the Creyos Dementia Screening tools.
  • Provide exceptional “customer service” skills, engaging residents with respect and patience.
  • Accurately execute screening tasks following strict protocol.
  • Record and submit data or observations as directed.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold resident confidentiality.
  • Represent the organization positively to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Active CNA certification in the state of practice.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Preferably, experience working with elderly or cognitively impaired populations.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and observational skills.
  • Self-directed and reliable, capable of working independently.

Schedule: Variable scheduling, including weekdays and possibly weekends, based on task needs.
