Title: Business Supply Chain & Planning – Scheduler
Location: Fort Saskatchewan AB - Onsite role
Duration: 12 + month contract role
Job description:
Uses job plans to create a weekly schedule for daily maintenance work that makes the most effective and efficient use of the available resources.
- Runs reports to identify list of work ready for scheduling.
- Reviews work orders and checks for administrative completeness
- Sets net capacity for the crafts based on available resources
- Works with GK/WAC to determine priority and desired timing of specific jobs
- Makes schedule updates based on feedback from WAC's and Technicians
- Identify resource requirements for the scheduled jobs using the job plans
- Build the “week schedule” making the most effective and efficient use of available resource and issuing the schedule
- Initiates material movement for scheduled jobs
- Identifies resource leveraging opportunities
- Communicates with Operations and Maintenance team the status of the schedule
- Leads scheduling meetings
- Monitors/reviews performance measures
- Identifies and leads scheduling improvement efforts
- Works with MAC to determine if resource levels need to be adjusted
