Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of the School Bus Driver/ School District employee will assist in maintaining safe and comfortable transportation for assigned students to and from designated stops.

High School Diploma or equivalent

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the KE School Bus Aide may be required to sit for regular periods of time and/or be confined to smaller spaces.
• The KE School Bus Aide must be able to move swiftly and navigate stairs.
• The KE School Bus Aide frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• KE School Bus Aide must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
