Inquiry for Biomanufacturing Technician Opportunities - Atlanta, GA Area (Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Industries)
We are seeking qualified candidates for Biomanufacturing Technician positions in the Atlanta, GA area across the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Medical Device industries. These positions are available at various levels, from entry-level to senior-level, and offer exciting opportunities to work in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for manufacturing processes, quality control, and the production of life-saving medical and biotechnological products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine manufacturing processes in a cGMP-compliant environment.
- Operate bioreactors, filtration systems, and other biomanufacturing equipment.
- Prepare and monitor media, buffers, and reagents for production.
- Conduct in-process testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist in resolving production issues.
- Support the development, scale-up, and production of biological, pharmaceutical, or medical device products.
- Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and other teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Entry-Level: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field. Familiarity with biomanufacturing processes, equipment, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) is a plus.
- Mid-Level: 2+ years of experience in biomanufacturing or a related field with hands-on experience in operating bioreactors, filtration systems, and performing in-process testing.
- Senior-Level: 5+ years of experience in biomanufacturing, including process optimization, troubleshooting, and leading production teams. In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and experience with upstream/downstream production is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in the operation of biomanufacturing equipment (e.g., bioreactors, filtration systems, chromatography).
- Familiarity with industry regulations (FDA, cGMP, ISO) and quality control processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Experience with documentation, process monitoring, and in-process testing.
