Job Title: Billing Specialist – Freight (Temp to Hire)
Location: Blue Bell, PA (In-office 1 days/week, Work from Home 4 day/week)
Pay: $19–$20/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist – Freight to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will manage the freight audit and payment process across one or more customers, ensuring accurate and timely payment of carrier invoices, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships with logistics partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily carrier invoices, including validation, coding, and payment approval.
  • Conduct freight audits to identify rate discrepancies, accessorial charges, and non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with 3PL operations to reconcile shipment data with invoice details.

Requirements:
  • Billing and heavy data entry experience required
  • Experience with TMS, freight audit platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CASS) or ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail to ensure invoices are audited and processed accurately and on time.

Schedule:
  • 1 days in the office (Blue Bell, PA)
  • 4 day remote/work from home
