JOB TITLE: Banking Operations Administrator
High Level Description:
Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, the Banking Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operational processes and ensuring accurate, efficient execution of specialized banking transactions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with internal partners to uphold high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Execute a variety of operational tasks accurately and within established timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver a consistently positive experience to internal partners and customers by maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Utilize MS Office applications, particularly Excel, to build, manage, and analyze spreadsheets for reporting and data management.
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational risks.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
- Participate actively in daily huddles, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote continuous learning.

- This role provides essential operational support within the banking operations team, directly contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of business processes.
- The incumbent will work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
- High school diploma (post-secondary education in business, accounting, or finance considered an asset).
- 2–4 years of experience in a banking, accounting, or administrative operations environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, accountability, and reliability.
Preferred:
- Experience in a financial institution or back-office banking environment.
- Familiarity with data management and process improvement tools.
