  • Schedule: Full time, 04:45 AM – 03:15 PM, 1st shift
  • Employment Type: Contract, 48 months

 

What's a typical day as an Avionics Installer II? You will:

  • Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment using blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings. 
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of work performed. 
  • Complete assigned tasks within established time frames. 
  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and customer specifications. 
  • Inspect and verify assemblies to ensure defect-free completion before final inspection. 
  • Follow company programs including FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety regulations. 
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. 
  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as directed by supervisor. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities such as YIAW and Kaizen events. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years of related work experience required. 
  • An avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year of related work experience accepted as an alternative. 
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications. 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in computer skills and general software applications.
