Salary/Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $152,000 - $215,000 annually. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, among other factors. Why you should apply:

What's a typical day as an Associate Clinical Supplies Director? You'll be:
  • Creating and managing clinical forecast plans and budgets related to drug products and clinical supplies for multiple programs and study levels.
  • Overseeing the labeling, packaging, release, distribution, and returns of clinical supplies at external CMOs for assigned studies.
  • Creating global supply strategies and collaborating with various teams like Pharmaceutical Operations, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance to execute them.
  • Managing clinical trial supply to ensure timely IMP production, inventory management, and worldwide distribution.
  • Leading the development, review, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system.
  • Representing the Clinical Supplies function at clinical trial team meetings and communicating plans and timelines to internal and external customers and partners.
  • Utilizing appropriate software and IT systems (e.g., IRT, MS Office, MS Project, Smartsheets) to manage key project activities.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to team members.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a BS/BA degree in a related discipline with a minimum of eleven years of related experience, or an MS/MA degree with a minimum of nine years of related experience.
  • Possess experience in independently leading all aspects of clinical supplies management for Phase I, II, and especially Phase III trials, as well as investigator-sponsored trials (IST).
  • Have experience with IRT systems for drug supply management and clinical supply management using contract manufacturing companies.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in clinical supply management, including planning, labeling, packaging, and distribution.
  • Exhibit strong initiative, creativity, and flexibility in problem-solving, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Possess excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and execute multiple ongoing projects with ease.
  • Are willing to travel up to 20% to vendor sites, team meetings, and/or other offices.
