Exciting Opportunity: Lab Technician - Dive into the Future of Water Treatment!
Role Overview: As a Lab Technician, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatability studies, as well as conducting in-house pilot studies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze with Precision: Characterize wastewater, solids, and sludge samples using advanced wet chemistry methods, including COD, Suspended Solids, Kjeldahl Nitrogen, Ammonia, Phosphate, and Sulfate. Utilize Gas Chromatography for Volatile Fatty Acid analysis.
- Innovate in the Lab: Set up and operate various treatability studies, ensuring meticulous execution and insightful analysis.
- Report & Communicate: Assist in crafting detailed study reports and communicate findings effectively to enhance team collaboration.
- Follow SOPs: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures with precision, ensuring the accuracy of all analytical results.
- Drive Improvement: Make informed decisions to boost productivity and contribute to ongoing improvements in water treatment processes.
- Safety First: Rigorously follow safety and environmental policies to maintain a secure and compliant laboratory environment.
- Adapt & Excel: Showcase flexibility and technical proficiency across multiple areas of water analysis.
- Educational Background: An associate's degree in chemistry or chemical technology is desired; a bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Sciences is preferred.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in water/wastewater analysis or wet chemistry
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently while maintaining frequent communication with team members on lab operations.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with analytical instrumentation troubleshooting.
