About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assembly Operator II to join our production team. This role is responsible for safely operating high-speed automated assembly machines, performing precise equipment adjustments, and ensuring consistent product quality through regular inspections and documentation. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned large-scale automated assembly machinery.

Perform set-ups, changeovers, and complex adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance.

Conduct quality checks in accordance with Quality Inspection Plans (QIP) and document measurements accurately.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance and basic equipment repairs.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults, clear jams, and restart production as needed.

Replace parts such as sensors, punches, dies, air cylinders, and belts when required.

Conduct precise measurements using height indicators, gauges, and microscopes to ensure quality compliance.

Package and prepare finished products for the next stage of production.
Qualifications

1+ year of relevant experience in automated manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation.

Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to perform adjustments and minor repairs.

Understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation habits.

Willingness to work overtime when needed and follow company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
