Assembly Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines and equipment for daily production activities

• Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

• Use inspection tools and accurately complete quality inspection documentation

• Identify product defects and complete required documentation and notifications

• Communicate effectively with set-up personnel, technicians, and supervisors regarding operational or quality issues

• Understand and apply gauging, visual inspection methods, and detailed work instructions

• Maintain attention to detail while following established manufacturing and quality processes

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

• Experience working with mechanical systems is a plus

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions

• Proficiency using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators

• Basic computer navigation and data entry skills

• Ability to read and write in English

• High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs consistently

• Ability to push or pull up to 180 lbs with the assistance of a hand dolly

• Perform repetitive hand motions (task rotation provided)

• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing throughout 8–10 hour shifts

• Ability to work in an uncontrolled environment, including exposure to heat
