Clean Room Assemblers – Kelly Services | Grimes, IA

Location: Grimes, IA.
Pay Rate: $18.75/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Overtime: Some OT, Saturdays
Assignment Type: Temporary Role | Through March 30th
 

Position Overview

Kelly Services is hiring Clean Room Assemblers to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Grimes, IA. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and accuracy of documentation related to surgical tools and equipment sterilization records.

If you're detail-oriented, quality-driven, and excel at communication and teamwork — this is an excellent opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities  • Accurately assembling custom procedure trays, learning to identify medical components by description and vendor item number.
 • Following assembly instructions and placing the correct components and quantities into the tray using the counting method.
 • Visually inspecting components for defects, verifying conformance to specifications, and reporting or rejecting defective components as per guidelines. Qualifications       • Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
      • Must wear scrubs
      • Can read and write in English, ensuring clear communication and                          understanding of instructions.
      • Are available to work the specified shifts, with a strong attention to detail              and commitment to quality. Work Environment
  • Temperature-controlled facility.
  • Combination of office and production floor work (mobile workstation provided).
  • Light physical requirements (lifting up to 10 lbs)..
Dress Code
  • No perfumes, lotions, oils, powders, jewelry, fake nails, or eyelashes.
  • Business casual attire, with scrubs available daily for use on the production floor.
  • Closed-toe and closed-back shoes required.
  • Cell phones must remain in the quality office.
Training
  • 2 weeks of instructor-led and peer-guided training on procedures and systems.
