Location: Roselle, IL 60172

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Schedule:
1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Overtime as needed; Saturday work possible

What's a typical day as an Assembler II? You will:

Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical subassemblies and finished machines using hand and power tools.

Interpret and follow mechanical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and detailed assembly instructions.

Install electrical components such as switches, sensors, connectors, wiring harnesses, and related hardware.

Perform dimensional checks, alignments, intermediate mechanical adjustments, and functional testing based on product checklists.

Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and standards.

Identify, document, and correct defects or discrepancies in the assembly process.

Record daily production data, test results, and quality documentation accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following safety protocols and 6S standards.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

A high school diploma or GED.

At least 2+ years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.

Machine or equipment building experience (required and non-negotiable).

The ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.

Hands-on experience with hand tools, air tools, battery-powered tools, arbor presses, feeler gauges, and hand trucks.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.

The ability to work independently or as part of a team, with reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime.
