Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: NW Dallas, TX | Type: Direct Hire (Full-Time)

Join the laboratory operations team at a premier diagnostic facility in Northwest Dallas. We are seeking dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientists to maintain high standards of quality and integrity in patient care. Position Overview

  • Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 (Commensurate with experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Sign-on/Relocation assistance available
  • Shifts: Multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available (Typically includes 1 weekend day)
  • Training: Completed on 1st shift before transitioning to your assigned schedule.
Strict Qualification Requirements
Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be considered (no exceptions):
  • Education: BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Coursework: Transcripts must show 25+ credit hours of Chemistry, including at least one Analytical Chemistry or Instrumental Analysis course.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a CLIA-certified laboratory.
Core Responsibilities
  • Testing & Reporting: Perform specimen handling, processing, and testing; accurately review and release patient results.
  • Quality Control: Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance; follow established policies when systems fall outside acceptable levels.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records demonstrating proficiency testing for all patient specimens.
  • Communication: Escalate technical or operational issues to senior technologists or supervisors as needed.
