Job Title: Assembler – Final Assembly (Manufacturing)
Location: Skaneateles NY
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM
Overview:
Join our manufacturing team as a contractor Assembler in final assembly. You'll perform entry-level assembly tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to produce high-quality medical devices and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility for assigned tasks and station changes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test devices, equipment, and components according to standardized procedures and quality requirements.
  • Use hand tools, automated machinery, and power tools; may assemble electronic components.
  • Accurately complete production documentation and Device History Records.
  • Prepare, organize, and verify kits with required components; maintain kit inventory and packaging.
  • Handle and store materials and assemblies; replenish components as needed.
  • Report quality issues or discrepancies to team leaders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and required training.
  • Package and label products for shipment, preparing pallets per safety guidelines.
  • Foster a safe, organized, and compliant work environment; report hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company standards including GMP and EHS requirements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, part specifications, and assembly drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
  • Effective teamwork and clear communication abilities.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and adaptability to new processes or station changes.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift/carry up to 55 lbs (team lift or equipment for items over 40 lbs).
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged standing and frequent walking within production area.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 55 lbs; frequent handling of materials under 25 lbs.
