'We get it: job searching takes time and attention. At Kelly®, we're here to make it a whole lot easier for you. We're seeking an Assembler, with optical experience to work at a premier client in Rochester, NY. This is a DIRECT HIRE position, pay is based on experience and is on day shift.  

What's a typical day as an Assembler? You'll be:
• Performing precision and intricate hand and machine assembly of finished products
• Assembling complex components and inspecting connections for correct tolerance and fit
• Fastening parts and subassemblies per customer specifications
• Reading and interpreting customer prints and specifications
• Identifying and resolving assembly and packaging issues
• Inspecting assembled parts for any imperfections
• Completing production reports daily to verify completed work

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in small parts assembly, specifically in Optics.
• Can read and interpret blueprints
• Are familiar with various trade tools
• Have attention to detail
• Possess math skills
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Are familiar with basic computer operations
• Have previous optical or polisher experience
