What a typical day as an Archives Records Specialist I might look like: 

l Accurately track and report daily work progress to provide metrics for use in status reports to management.
l Demonstrate accuracy and proficiency in all activities.
l Adherence to safety guidelines pertaining to office and warehouse environments.
l Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures.
l Sorting through physical records to Create an inventory of the records, Organize the records.
l Gather metadata for the records on excel RMA sheet in preparation for the migration into RIMS, Box records, Prepare boxes for shipment to offsite storage vendor, As directed, utilize the records archiving IT system, RIMS.
l All activities are executed per records management requirements.
 
 This job might be an outstanding fit if you: 

l Proven attention to detail, specifically with typing and organizational skills.
l Competency and experience working with Microsoft Excel (intermediate skill level is acceptable).
l Ability to work with Word and Power Point.
l Ability to lift containers of 25 pounds.
l Clerical experience (sorting, collating, and filing).
l Excellent communication skills.
l Ability to work independently and with Teams.
l Records management or working in an archive, library, etc.
l Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
l Using Document and/or Record Management IT Systems or equivalent.
l High school diploma or GED. College coursework is preferable.
l 0 - 2 Years' Experience.
