Kelly Services in partnership with Nissan North America is currently recruiting for an arbitration specialist to evaluate, manage, and negotiate incoming cases from the Better Business Bureau, regulatory agencies, and consumers in reference to Lemon Law and breach of warranty issues.


This position is a full time, hourly position paying $27.80/hour with growth opportunities available within Nissan after a year in this role.



In this position, you will:

  • Evaluate incoming cases from the BBB Auto line, regulatory agencies, attorneys, dealerships and consumers in reference to alleged Lemon Law and Breach of Warranty issues.
  • Effectively negotiates settlements and repurchases directly with consumers, dealers, third-party contacts and regional personnel through strong verbal and written communication.
  • Present strong and compelling arguments at BBB Auto line arbitration hearings to represent and defend Nissan North America, Inc in lemon law and breach of warranty cases.
  • Process voluntary and mandated repurchases/replacements within mandatory time frame requirements of each state to prevent financial penalties.
  • Review and resolve issues following lawful guidelines.
  • Schedules appointments between dealers, customers, and factory representative regarding issue resolution and arbitration avoidance.


We are looking for someone with good interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making skills.


Minimum Qualifications:
Job Knowledge and Skill: Basic computer systems knowledge, proven customer interaction skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills.

Experience: One year directly related experience at a professional level. Experience as an Automotive claims adjuster, case management, or arbitration experience preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required for this role.

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, etc. to output routine products with similar, non-creative formats.
