Full Time opportunity in Washington, MO for a Quality Inspector.
Contract to Direct
1st Shift
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Aerospace experience is required.
Overview:
The Quality Inspector will inspect products and/or documents at various stages of production, to validate processes and provide documentation required to show compliance to the Quality System, while under close supervision. Also, read and interpret customer instructions, blueprints, charts and other statistical information; prepare parts and documentation for outside criteria; and participate in work center and other problem-solving teams as requested.
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Create customer First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) off internal FAIR
• Create and upload Net Inspect information
• Fill out customer provided inspection check list. Maintain quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations. Access all applicable Prime customer specification requirements on SharePoint site.
• Entering data into the Work Order Tracking System, including notes and recording data on the work order.
• Assist production personnel in establishing and documenting inspection criteria, prepare parts and documentation to meet outside criteria, completes all required inspection documentation and communicates as needed with customers.
• Verify the job, matching the actual parts with the work order, part number(s), printed and/or electronic pictures and part count.
• Communicated with customers to make sure requirements are being met
• Understanding customer requirements
• Work well with other departments both internal and external to Engineering
• Communicate with internal employees to ensure customer needs are met
• Read and understand work order requirements.
• Available to work overtime when required, including weekends
• Follow all safety requirements and enforce compliance.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or High School Equivalency required.
• Quality/Inspection or aerospace experience.
• Experience working with measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates attention to detail

• Ability to identify and resolve problems
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
• Initiative/self-motivation
• Ability to complete multiple tasks within the required time frame in a highly interactive environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
