Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: San Carlos, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: + $25.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary, full-time position at our San Carlos location—with the potential to become permanent. This onsite role is key to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the company's billing and collections processes.
The ideal candidate A/R candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Acctivate, along with strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. If you're dependable, organized, and ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Manage invoicing, payment processing, and customer account reconciliation
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding billing and payment issues
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all receivables
- Support general accounting tasks as needed
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Acctivate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
