- Attention to detail - Resource will be working with a lot of manual paperwork and will need to accurately match data between quantities and PO
- Familiar with a PO process
SUMMARY
The Clerk will perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of financial records. This position is responsible for the timely processing of vendor invoices and will work to help support the Warehouse team with day-to-day activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answer shipping/receiving phone
• Direct drivers for shipments and deliveries, this may include logging in trucks and locking them out for loading/unloading
• Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming or outgoing shipments to verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Creates bill payment packets and reconcile to the accounting software
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
• Respond to vendors looking for payment status
• Accurately update spreadsheets and inventory management software for inbound and outbound shipments
• Print BOL for outbound shipments
• Manage cargo pickup log
• Process freight and other non-inventory billing
• Collaboration with procurement team regarding inbound deliveries; may include delivery date confirmation and schedule update
• Maintain new empty drum inventory; includes inventory transfers from 3rd party warehouse
• Process customer invoicing
• Filing
• Participates in safety, quality, security, and housekeeping programs as established within the plant
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting established productivity and accuracy standards
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
• 2 years of clerical type work experience
• Experience with a business system / ERP / MRP system
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
• Must be drug and alcohol free
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires:
• Standing for prolonged periods of time
• Work overtime, as needed
