Accounts Payable Associate

20 hour work week between 8:00am-4:00pm

$26-$30/hr DOE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting with an emphasis on accounts payable. You will be working onsite for 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options. This position is initially temporary for 3-6 months, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role based on your skills and performance. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary (3-6 months, potential for permanent)
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $26 to $30 per hour
- Shift: Flexible days/hours, 20 hours per week


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including filing and reconciling petty cash.
- Manage data entry from multiple accounting and fundraising systems.
- Support payroll items and absence reports.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail in all accounting duties.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with pivots and V-lookups is a plus.
- Experience with MIP accounting software is beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
