- Handling general accounting for the US and Canada, including month-end close, entry preparation, reconciliations, audit support, and GAAP reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Analyzing accounts and making necessary adjustments.
- Designing and completing summaries, supplementals, and reports.
- Executing specific analyses and transactions such as cash, leases, and fixed assets.
- Managing daily general ledger activities and annual internal control and SOX testing processes.
- Supporting management through data collection, analysis, and special projects.
- Assisting with financial, tax, and other audits, and identifying areas for improvement in accounting processes.
- Conducting inventory analysis and performing other duties as assigned.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Have 8+ years of related experience in an accounting role, preferably in a multinational company environment.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sum-if, and higher-level functions.
- Possess working knowledge of GAAP and SOX, with desired software expertise in SAP and Blackline.
- Are a CPA (this is a plus).
- Are self-motivated, self-sufficient, organized, and have a positive outlook focused on quality work.
- Can plan, organize, and complete projects on time while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Are action-oriented and proactive in solving problems, capable of working independently and seeking process improvements.
