Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will support both ongoing financial operations and special projects, including our upcoming migration to QuickBooks. Reporting to senior management, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.

Description of Potential Services to be Performed:

  • Collaborate with identified personnel to facilitate and support the Company's migration to QuickBooks.
  • Assist with financial operations to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Support payroll processing and the remittance of related payments.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage the budgeting process, providing guidance and support to department managers on all financial matters.
  • Monitor accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Process payroll for all employees on schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hire information, terminations, pay rate changes, and tax withholding requests.
  • Verify timesheets, attendance, and overtime approvals before executing payroll runs.
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes and related remittances, ensuring compliance with all government regulations.
  • In collaboration with company personnel, participate in the annual financial audit and tax engagements, preparing and providing all required supporting documentation to external auditors.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an accounting/payroll clerk or in a similar financial role.
  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or demonstrated ability to learn new accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
